A Great Piece of Architecture

This is the Coronado bridge in San Diego. My family and I crossed it during our holiday trip to the United States. The bridge links San Diego, California with the city of Coronado. It was designed by architect Robert Mosher and had started construction on Februrary 1967, the bridge was opened to traffic on August 3, 1969.

The bridge spans over 11,179 feet long in length and reaches a maximum height of 200 feet. The bridge is curved at an 80 degree angle that goes toward San Diego and was constructed from steel girders and concrete.
